Without a doubt my favorite straight edge band going right now, probably one of my favorite bands in hardcore period. Where the demo felt squarely in the ballpark of early THINK I CARE - fast, angry INFEST style hardcore taking a lot of cues from 80's New York bands - this EP sprawls out a bit more to me, with more straight up Youth Crew components like gang vocals, melodic parts, leads, pick slides etc while still being very compact and to the point. This EP is actually fewer minutes-per-song than the demo which is always a promising sight. I might offer BROTHERHOOD as another comparison point but the vocals here are way more rabid and less typical of the style. The recording sounds pretty crazy though. I'm not good with the terminology or pinpointing this stuff but like are the mids totally scooped out? The kick also sounds sort of buried. Idk. That aspect I like more on the demo. But the songs here are killer.
